The Hunt for the Jester - Chapter 2a

Happy New Year everyone!

Sorry once again for the sudden disappearance. This time I actually had the chapter ready, but my internet cut out. I took it as a sign and decided to take a break over the holidays, but I'm back and I've got a (small) buffer now ready to post for the next few weeks. Unfortunately my laptop is still on the blink, so I may disappear again anyway. I'm backing up my stuff regularly, but it may break my flow even if it is fixed relatively quickly - I'm just hoping it won't happen, as it'll be difficult enough with my new work hours.

I'm afraid this isn't a very exciting chapter, and I can't even promise that it'll change soon. But if it's any consolation, there will be some fanservice soon, so there is something to look forward to. Just not yet.
